PSP shuts down with HBL and Hotshots Golf Open Tee

Hi!

HBL doesn’t work for me. Upon launching game, screen gets black and PSP shuts down. I guess I did everything right.

I am running PSP 3000 OFW 6.31. Hotshots Golf Open Tee from PSN store. Interestingly, Hello World works, but not HBL. This suggests that the game is not patched yet. Tried on two devices. Tried most available HBL versions.

please, help. Can I somehow help investigating why this is not working?

Please disregard this post. It looks like PSN version of the game IS "greatest hits". Once I use appropriate HBL tools HBL loads. I am trying to launch SNES emulator at the moment.

try this new HBL Demo:
Sukkiri demo: Download (Copy to ms0:/PSP/GAME)
Savedata and HBL: Download (Copy the Map "SAVEDATA" to ms0:/PSP/.... and h.bin and HBL Map into ms0:/...)




or try with hotshots golf:
HBL R109: Download (Copy to ms0:/..)
SAVEDATA: Download (Copy to ms0:/PSP/SAVEDATA/..)

Hi,
As I said earlier, I resolved my problems. My working setup is:

* Hotshots Golf Open Tee from PSN. Note: it is apparently "Greatest hits" version, so use appropriate HBL and savedata.
* HBL R110 Retail and savedata from viewtopic.php?f=3&t=51
* SNES emulator: google for "UO Snes9x 0.02y33 Build 0034 Ruka". Note Snes9xTyl does not work.
* Picodrive 1.51

Current issues are that SNES emulator is slow, even with sound turned off and PSP OCed to 333Mhz. Are there any better optimized versions available, working on HBL?
Also, there's no sound in Picodrive.

BTW Sukkiri Demo exploit R112 worked just fine! Snes9xTyl runs now, and it is apparently better emulator than Ruka's 034build. Lucky guys won't even have to buy a game Thanks!

Not sure if this is issue with HBL112 Sukkiri, but Snes9xTyl fails to save game states for me.

hmmm maybe its the emulator or yet agin i might be wrong

Just verified that no strange attributes are set on Snes9xtyl folder, still state save/load doesn't work. Basically, if I try to save state, I return to the game, but when I try to load from same slot, slot is shown as free.

If I try to Export state in snes9x format, that works, but Import fails with Out of memory message. Could someone confirm that state saving/loading works for them in HBL + snes9xtyl?
