@anyone who wants to answer: can't we just get the thing for the sound like what is done with the pops??? i mean, getting the soundthingy.prx and put it on the save/exploit folder???

i wonder if extracting the pops_01g will work on the vita, since it renames eboot to fboot... so anyone that does not have a psp can do it ^^,

nope, the soundthingy.prx relies on the Media Engine to work, sadly the Vita does not emulate the Media Engine.
It would require some crazy hacks to get sound working and the only person capable of doing so left the scene

Yea Coldbird said it took like 4 months of straight coding just to get any kind of sound, so I doubt we will see it unless some prodigy comes along.
