Open CMA 5.0 does not work

Post by Marty91 »

I feel like I've tried everything. It forces me to update if I try to connect. Followed the instructions on this page: http://wololo.net/2012/12/07/release-op ... firmwares/, but to no avail. Reinstalled CMA multiple times, both from the Vita itself and downloaded. Run both .bat and then setdll as admin. My current firmware is 2.02.
Had the Vita for a month and was under the impression it was working, but I guess not.
I get this message in my command window when running the .bat:
"ERROR: The process "CMA.exe" not found.
ERROR: The process "CMADownloader.exe" not found."
Advice appreciated.

i faced a similar problem.
here's C://Program Files/Sony/Content Manager Assistant.
double click on CMA And let it run. Then run the .bat file as an admin.
then run the setdll file as an admin.
THEN Run CMA Again
connect ur ps vita and see if it works.

Tried that now. It didn't work, I'm afraid.
Thanks for your input though.

"ERROR: The process "CMA.exe" not found.
ERROR: The process "CMADownloader.exe" not found."
That's fine, if you already did it. As long as you can connect offline you're fine, but you can't.
So try:
Rebooting the vita

I can help you but what OS are you on?

Alright do this:
Disable any antivirus software/UAC
Delete CMA, do not uninstall
Go to official CMA website and download CMA and install
Cop Open CMA files into same folder, run as admin and keep your Vita plugged in during this
Open CMA on vita and try it, if not reboot.
