Just tried signing NesterJ with your tool , it boots but then returns to the XMB with error 80020148.

Did I do something wrong (Extract the data.psp from the pbp , sign it then put it back in) or not ?

It may not work with more complex eboots, that particular program may also be importing functions that dont exist if your on ofw such as SystemControl.

http://bbtgp.net/downloads/prxencrypter_sdk.7z correctly named it, modded build.mak and included sample. Set ENCRYPT=1 in the makefile for other programs to encrypt them.

EDIT: also that emulator appears to to be compiled statically. Probably why it failed to load.

It seems it does only work for homebrews build with "BUILD_PRX = 1" in the Makefile

I tried it and it worked. It was a matter of running the prxEncrypter manually and replacing the compiled helloworld.prx with the encrypted one. Wonderful! :)
Now, I wonder if a Lua interpreter would compile and run without a problem.

The author supplied the source code in the first uploaded archive, so I would think so.

Well it's called clearly PRX Encrypter, isn't it?

You can do it yourself, you have all you need.

Please keep on-topic (PROGRAMMING). Next posts like this ones will be erased, thanks.

There must be something wrong with PSP SDK prxes, OFW always refuses more complicated ones, with error 0x80020148, that means it refused it even before imports checking. (i know it because i made smaller homebrew with invalid import and it returned different error - library not found)

Why in PSP SDK? Well, OFW accepts re-signed original demos, unchanged, and no matter if ~PSP header is incorrect.
Also, CFW accepts all "signed" homebrews. So CFW seem to have patch that allows all homebrews to run.
