Worked like a charm on my PSP 3000, 03g, tested it going from 6.60 to 6.20, and again 6.60 to 5.03. Worked as expected both times, video forthcoming

Just upgraded to 6.60 then all the way down to 5.00.

Just curious, what would happen if you attempted to downgrade past 5.00. To like, 3.71?

EDIT: Nevermind, just found out. Tried to go 6.60 to 3.71. It just says the update is corrupted.

It will say corrupted data, and will quit the "updater".
So nothing special...

It is a request for you- if u have last exploit please dont release it or make a video about it or tell about it.
bcoz if sony sees it it will probably release a featureless update and will wait for u to exploit it.

then no more exploits.

on ther side more worse can happen-
u release latest downgraders, people play isos/csos, sony/game developers face loss, so no more games .

if the latest firmware remains unhacked, developers happy- more games


also nowdays only few fools update to those firmwares
eg- if u look number of responses for 6.3X downgraders and for 6.60 downgrader u will understand that ur hard work was a waste.

so please dont release ur hacks unless there r really good features/long time no updates by sony/or many people beg for ur work.

only then we can hope for more games/more features( i hope there will be a fifa 12/13, more nfs games, a harry-potter7 game for psp, etc )(or official screenshot feature or mp3 plugin in games etc )

First off, that video was a mistake, it wasn't supposed to happen, I didn't want it to happen. I don't like hyping up or announcing my releases, unlike other people.

Secondly, DO NOT blame me for iso's, piracy, iso loaders, or blame me for why new games don't come out as much. I'm not the one who makes the iso loaders, I do not support pirated games, hence why I've never made a hen. I want to eventually become a game dev in a couple of years, and I would HATE to see people pirating my games. So if you want to complain about iso's or games not coming out, go complain to pro.

@some1 i was/am not trying to make you angry and its good that u want to make games.
although u dont make hens/isodrivers etc (and its not illegal too) but u allow people easily reach them through downgraders, i mean downgrading latest firmwares, allowing people (indirectly) play pirated games.

secondly how would u feel if u make a cool game but even people with latest firmware play pirated games.

finally(not saying tn was better than u or u r better than him or he did it for fame or u did it for compo), total noob waited for months before releasing his 6.20 hen,because-
1)he needed time

but why dint he release 6.35 hen with his vsh exploit-

bcoz he hated piracy, he released it for 6.20(even after sukkiri port i think u were the cool guy who did it) he didnt release it.
if u can prove it wrong how bout this-

before 6.35 was released he could have released his hen for 6.31 through hbl or his vsh exploit but he wrore-

I am thinking about porting my HEN to 6.31. For that I need an exploit, myself, I found a VSH exploit

later on he scibbled it and then wrote-

I'll release HEN for 6.20. When Sony releases a new firmware (but I don't think so, because they don't care about the PSP anymore), I'll port it to 6.31 (idea by Flyer).
