Why not just use the 3.60 PSAR?

Well i'm willing to use the FreePlay's 3.60 FW Installer, and I doubt I can retrieve the IPL from the PSAR?
But if there's a way to grab 3.60 IPL from PSAR, let me known.
Best regards.

Kinda confused here, Why do you need the IPL specifically? if you just want to install the 3.60 firmware then why not run the 360.psar through an installer?
Its been a very long time since I messed with a psar but shouldn't it be that simple?

I'm forced to take the IPL straight from a nand dump.
Well i'm willing to use this program:
http://www.brewology.com/downloads/down ... 638&mcid=1
"* 3.60 IPL. To obtain this
1. Uninstall 3.60m33 (you can do this with the 3.60m33 installer... read the readme for details). Use Pandora and cory1492's nandTool to dump the 3.60 NAND to your memory stick.
2. In a hex editor, go to offset 0x42000 in the NAND dump. Copy the following 0x36000 bytes (221184 bytes) to a new file. This is the IPL.
"
That's actually the only existing way to return firmware 3.60 as far as I know.

So reading cyber's post on the other thread tells us that the ipl can be obtained from a 3.60 Time Machine install which iirc does not need anything else beside the psar.
Maybe try getting it that way?

Thanks for your replies.
Well I have a working 3.60 M33 time machine, but I'm completely unable to create a Nand dump of the TM's firmware and don't know if it's possible?
Because all I know about the IPL is that it's located at offset 0x42000 so that's my only way to grab it.

Doesn't the TM store the IPL in its own bin? It might just be in there somewhere?
in fact isn't that how TM chooses what firmware to boot? you map the bin to a button?

But this is a "custom" IPL which require Pandora and a firmware 3.90 M33 or above to work?
I need the original 3.60 IPL.
