HBStore Problems

Post by stan450 »

Today, I downloaded NZP from HBStore, and quit it, but it did not quit and remained at the 'Please Wait...' screen.
I removed the batt and restarted, and i started NZP, but no map would load and it would also not quit.
I renamed NZP's folder from HBRW**** to NZP and maps would load, but my psp would crash immediately before starting.
Any help?

I would not suggest renaming folders from what HomebrewStore created them as. By doing so, HomebrewStore will not be able to detect if that content needs updating in the future.

Freezing at the "Please Wait..." screen is a common error in homebrew it seems. Usually holding the power switch is all that is needed, not pulling the battery. It sounds to me that when you removed your battery some game data for NZP got corrupted. My suggestion is to attempt to redownload the game.

About 3-4 months go I downloaded NZP for my hacked psp go, it freezed on the startup.

Now I have PRO-B10 and it works perfectly.

And, about the "crash"/freeze of HB Store, it doesnt actually freeze, you just need to wait a bit longer for HB store to exit.

1. Press Quit Game
2. Wait about 10-20s --> wifi light will turn off
3. Wait couple more seconds, you are in XMB.

Upon AfroThunder's suggestions, I redownloaded nzp.
It still got stuck on loading maps.
On downloading from pc and transferring, it worked, but when I tried to exit it still got stuck on the 'Pease wait...' screen.
Maybe it's a problem with my pro b-10. reinstall?

Most likely reinstalling wont help anything.

Problem Solved!
The problem was with the PSPLink plugins I had installed to work out TiPi's tutorial. After removing them, every game boots up properly, exits properly.
Sorry for wasting your time, I should have checked my plugins first.

I can't even get HBS to work :-( Running 6.60 and ProB10 on a v33 PSP 2000. When I try to run the software, I get an 80020001 error and the app crashes back to the XMB
