Still can't get this new version to start. Tried deleting old data files and reinstalling fresh but still no luck.

When you uninstall and then delete the data files, download both the VPK + Data files (or just use VHBB) and try it with the included demo pak file before copying over your full version paks. If it works, then I would copy over only your pak files and not the entire base2q folder.

If you decide to run the texture packs linked in the main post keep in mind it will sit at a black screen for a couple minutes before it loads the main game.

I am running into a slight issue however; when I hit the end of the 'Installation' mission it just sits at the overview screen without proceeding to the next level.

Thanks but this is actually exactly what I did...unfortunately not working even with the demo pak on a fresh install for me. I'm not finding it anywhere, but is there a way to re-download the old VPK? This is my personal favorite Vita homebrew port, my Vita is incomplete without it now :D

The gpucrash/black screen issues can be solved by placing these two files in ux0:data/quake2 (https://rinnegatamante.it/q2fix.zip).
For the level not proceeding, it actually requires a lot of time to go to the next one since controls can't be used to skip intermission screen, i'm gonna address this issue in a fast hostfix release most likely tomorrow.
