Re: [OPEN] Getting started with psp2sdk

Yeah I tried the cpp version also, it crashed on me on the first run and then I tried it 4 more times yesterday and it was ok. Tried the same velf today and it was ok. Maybe it crash on certain conditions, but don't know what it is. Well, I'm on Firmware 3.18 Unity 1.05. Might have different results...

Re: [OPEN] Getting started with psp2sdk

Then the SDK is fine. I only try the hello_world not the cpp version.

The hello_world sample just prints to stdout, soyou can't see anything on VITA. If you run the hello_world through the debug.bat, then you will see the "Hello World" text in the windows cmd screen. Looks like you are go to go.

Re: [OPEN] Getting started with psp2sdk

"-lz" means it is trying to link with the libz.a file. libz.a is the static lib for zlib software which is part of the vita-extra-libs.tar.gz from frangarcj repo. Another example, "-lpng" means it is linking with libpng.a. depends where you extracted the those files you might have to modify the Make...

Re: [OPEN] Reclaim base game file space?

If you are on US psn, try getting "echochrome PSP Demo". I got it when I was on 3.18 firmware, not sure if it is still downloadble now.

Re: [OPEN] Getting started with psp2sdk

Can't really help here as you have to learn it yourself. It's best you develop in Linux with the open source SDK's which provide most of the cmd line stuff. If you want to develop in Windows, then you can try Cygwin or MSYS2 as this provide a Unix like environment. I would suggest MSYS2(http://msys2...

Re: [OPEN] How do i send files to qwikrazor87 TN-V11 3.52

You would use PSP-INSTALLER only if you want to put EBOOT.PBP into the /PSP/GAME folder on 3.50+. That is the only path that TN-V searches for EBOOT.PBP. Homebrews are mainly delivered in EBOOT.PBP, And I think PS1 games are all in EBOOT.PBP. If you want to play ISO only, then just need to copy them...

Re: [OPEN] Getting started with psp2sdk

I think most developers have switch over to using the VITASDK which is more actively being worked on at the moment and works quite well with rejuvenate and since 0.3.4, it allow you to see the debug logging combined with VITASDK builds. You can start with the following samples for hello_world using ...

Re: Changing Required Firmware

I did try this on PSM Unity 1.0.6 on Firmware 3.18. PSM Unity 1.0.6 required 3.30+. I changed the value to 03.1800, but it didn't have any effect.

Re: PSP-Installer - Write to /PSP/GAME/ on all firmwares

Can anyone run the game you installed with this method? Since there is no icon for it or can we actually use this as a base game? Anyone can confirm? I tried making it as a base game but didnt work, maybe I messed up something. 1: install a game or demo, use the ps3 if possible( if you don't never ...
