problem replacing the music

first i'll appologise for my bad english.
next i'll describe my problem.
i'm tryin to replace the original music (in "sound" file)named:
ai_baka_music track1 and track0
i replaced it by mp3 (coming from the game "magic and mayhem") without id3
with the same name btw

but when i try the game:no music!
in the optios music is at 50% volume and i can hear the game sound when i lauch the "demo" but no music.

what did i do wrong?(if i'm huderstandable)

Are those "conventional" mp3s ? Make sure they are at 44kHz, for example...

so,i don't realy know how to see the frequecy...
i used right clic,properties,summary and clicked advanced.
there i saw it was in 48kHz.
is there the problem?
how can i change it? with witch program?
