Your image zips are probably compressed. Please see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3419
Solution is to decompress your images zip, and zip it again with NO compression ("Store" mode)

tried it on the nightly build of ICS, the "desk" doesn't have a "wallpaper", so the game runs on a black field

It sounds like you might have an incorrect version of the "core_0171.zip" file, if you are one of the few unlucky people who downloaded it at the wrong time when we were still working on it.
Try to go to googlecode and download the file directly, and replace the one on your sdcard: http://code.google.com/p/wagic/download ... akechanges

(basically your "core" file should be about 34MB. IF you have one that is about 20MB, you have the wrong one)

I'm trying to play a classic game and Wagic crashes with a Windows "This program has encountered a problem and needs to close" error. This is on XP Home SP 3. The only difference between what I have and the standard download is that I've added a user folder with the PSP version 17 sets.zip file that's in the user images forum.

I'm on the psp and the game freezes and then the PSP restarts whenever I win a game (I haven't lost one so I'm not sure what happens then).
