Filtering by Format

Post by haggardazrael »

Im unsure how difficult/easy this would be to implement but what would be involved in filtering by format?

have say a quick filter menu and the options standard, modern, extended, vintage etc...
this would be useful for those that use magic for basic deck testing.

if the options selectable are parsed from card.dat files would this be as simple as adding the tag, and recognising in the software?

thanks

We've had several times a request for tournament format support... this could be done mid term by extending the "pack" system I believe, but it is not one of my priorities. I know a growing people are using Wagic for "real life" deck testing, and honestly I'm honoured because I didn't think it would ever become good enough that it allows people to playtest decks...

I personally have little interest in tournaments (having basically nobody to play that game with), but if any dev is interested in that, what you suggest would indeed be a very welcome addition
