Re: OMG Hello World Has Purple Screen!!

That'd be nice to get that repository, because our issue predates the svn like I said. The change in the PSPSDK could have caused our bug. Anything added to JGE at that time is worth looking at.

Re: OMG Hello World Has Purple Screen!!

Also since the purple screen predates the SVN, I can't check when in august JGE was changed if at all. However, something we have done with JGE since then has definatly made it show itself more often.

So, if you want the code to this I made an SVN for it. https://code.google.com/p/purplescreendebug/

Re: OMG Hello World Has Purple Screen!!

No, unfortunatly it happens just like wagic. Sometimes works sometimes doesn't. But atleast now we know wagics code is fine. Its JGE that has an issue.

OMG Hello World Has Purple Screen!!

We're not using anything incorrectly in wagic source. I have the Hello World that came with JGE and it has our little purple friend too. That means the error HAS to be in OUR JGE. Because I used our JGE to compile. By the way, what are the dependancies in the dep folder? I couldn't get some things t...

Re: Help Stop The Purple Screen

I have gotten a purple screen and was wrong. That file was the same as what a normal screen one was. Now we know JGE is not initalizing the display mode wrong. I think we're back to the drawing board here.

Re: Help Stop The Purple Screen

Hes right, get a purple screen now and be sure to tell us what that file says (make sure you do so right after the purple screen; do not restart wagic). If its the same as the one I posted my theory is wrong :(

Re: Help Stop The Purple Screen

I've updated the original eboot with more info, the pointers do cause a split screen when incorrect (confirmed this by forcing improper values) but not the same split purple we are getting. The only way to tell for sure is wait for someone with our special eboot to get the error. If we do not get a ...

Help Stop The Purple Screen

Hate the purple screen? Yeah me too. So I made an eboot that may help me track it down. Use it, and when you get a purple screen, don't start this eboot again untill you look at graphiclog.txt in the WTH folder. Then post whats in the file here. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZRS4HUUP anyone that coul...
