Your second example is doable with the current filters.

Filter 1 : Sets-ARB Type-Artifact
Filter 2 : Sets-SOM Type-Artifact

That will show only artifacts from those two sets.

Card text filtering would require checking that all cards.dat text exactly match the text defined on Gatherer.

The set in this thread has all the tokens except for the most recent sets. Maybe you could use this to gather most of the data efficiently?

Did the sets you download include a thumbnails folder in the zip?

It's pretty simple to use a tool to create thumbnails from the full-sized images if needed, just name your platform.

Same problem for Linux.
