MASSIVE WARNING THOUGH: You could potentially brick your console if you do this wrong, so follow the guide carefully, double check everything and you should be fine, just don’t go crying at me if you mess up. Once that’s done all you need is to grab OpenBOR from here, find the PSP engine, pop it onto your PSP in the ‘PSP >Game’ folder and you’re ready to roll. Games can be found in a lot of places, but I found zvitor.com and Chrono Crash to be good resources and there’s plenty of comprehensive torrent collections out there too. And there is a lot of creative people making a lot of games for the engine, most are remakes/sequels of existing brawlers (Final Fight being the big one) and a lot use assets from other games to create new versions but there’s also some great original material too. I’m gonna run through some of the best ones I’ve found in my short time. By no means a ‘best of’ list, these are just the ones I tried and thought were great, there’s so many out there it’s worth just downloading a load and seeing what takes your fancy. Anyway…onwards! Hi sony psp website says i need a Memory Stick Duo™ media with at least 28 MB of free space, I got a 32 MB with 30.8 MB of free space but the EBOOT.PBP is larger than this and I cannot transfer the file into the memory stick…any sugestion? thanks!
Get a bigger memory stick. 512MB minimum, 4 or 8 GB recommended.

Guys i got a problem. I have a 1004 Phat PSP, I successfully flashed temp cfw (pro-c3) but my settings aren’t working. I mean I can’t access any of the settings, just freezes and restarts. Any suggestions?
Often people with old cfw have plugins in use which are old .. update your prx or disable them.
So should I delete those plugins?

I don’t know what model it is though, but I asked at Best Buy where I work, and they said playing ROMs on a PSP was not possible.
The guys at best buy obviously don’t know anything, after installing cfw go to the “All Emulators for your PSP/Vita” section at the top of this blog and you will find all the emulators you need. Snes emulator works really well on psp.

my problem is with the download itself, it shows up on my vista laptop as one of those unrecognized files and the computers prompts me to look for file to open it. Any suggestions?

Hi. I have an original psp fat. it is modded so software ver. 3.80 M-33-5. (i am not too tech savvy btw). I have some ps one originals and psp games that I got on my ps3 through the ps store. My question is, if I do the firmware update required to transfer the games from my ps3 to my psp will that make me lose my mods? I have various emulators and roms that I wouldn’t want to lose.
