UnlockSwitch will cost $29.9 (but some points remain unclear). In parallel, the team is allegedly working on a game dumper

Just my opinion, but it seems to me that they’re selling the hardware without code flashd to it to reduce the likelihood of Nintendo legal issues. Leaked I think just means the software isn’t officially for download in their website but elsewhere so it doesn’t lead back to them, but of course it will. If Nintendo shut down DragonInjector they will surely try to shut these flash carts down.

Competition is good for us as it makes things cheaper thats why migswitch are complaining.

I really hate how they make everything so…open ended. It’s like a stupid high school prank

I would say, they try to be less vulnerable to Ni*** lawyers. Selling only a board without any functionality should not be illegal. Then it’s up to the user what to do with it.

I guess they will provide a working firmware, maybe not under the same name. Not a dumb move in my eyes.

I think it’s a pretty smart move – selling just the raw hardware and provide a DIY guide for the end user.
Imagine if someone start selling a raspberry Pi with PPPwn already preloaded on it, Sony would be after him right away. Same logic.
