Switch: Atmosphère 1.5.0 and Hekate 6.0.2 released with firmware 16.0.0 compatibility

Switch devs SciresM, and CTCaer have released updates for Atmosphère, and Hekate/Nyx respectively. The tool updates bring Switch firmware 16.0.0 compatibility, along with additional features an bug fixes.
Switch Firmware 16.0.0 was released earlier this week. Despite being a Major version, it doesn’t seem to bring much new to the table. From the official changelog:
- User nicknames that cannot be used will be replaced with “???” which can be updated from the profile settings.
- General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.
What are Atmosphère / Hekate for Nintendo Switch ?
Hekate is a bootloader for Nintendo Switch, and more general “swiss army knife” payload for any hackable Switch. Atmosphère is the most complete and used Custom Firmware on the Nintendo Switch. The combination of these two tools constitutes in my opinion the basics of hacking your Switch.
Lockpick_RCM lets you decrypt and export your Switch’s keys for use in various critical homebrew tools (such as hactool, hactoolnet/LibHac, ChoiDujour, etc…).

- These programs may encounter strange errors, and may need to be recompiled with a libnx updated to support 16.0.0’s changes to function properly.

Hekate 6.0.2:
- HOS 16.0.0 Support
- Fixed an issue which could, in some cases, cause Stock-mode to hang on boot on

hekate_ipl.ini
In case hekate started with removed or broken SD and was plugged later - L4T Loader: updated T210B01 SC7-Exit firmware to account for new burnt fuses count
- Various other improvements.
Nyx 1.5.2:
- HOS 16.0.0 Support
- Improve SD error handling on init. Added retries in case of failure.
If it still fails to load them, now user will properly get a fatal error message. - Added support for
bpmpclock=3which further reduces clock speed for the worst binned SoCs
Additionally, the first boot clock test now lasts fro 10s on first boot, instead of 5s.
To changebpmpclock, you need to manually editnyx.ini, since it’s not in the GUI options. - Reboot to OFW button now gets disabled if AutoRCM is enabled
- Fixed an issue on PKG1/2 dump tool which would produce incorrect binaries on PKG1 dumping.
- Various improvements/fixes

Why are there no modded versions of this CFW that works the way SX OS did?
I’m having problems with my Patched 4.1.0 switch. Using the guide below:
https://switch.homebrew.guide/
I downloaded the latest files from:
https://www.sdsetup.com/
and after many failed attempts to load the hekate through Caffeine, I can install the Emumc correctly. However, after the first boot the Atmosphere OS does not open/load anymore, always ending up in black screen.
So, I took an old version of Hekate 5.1 and did the sd partitioning on the computer. Then, I can install and enter Emumc without problems, but I don’t know how to update for newer versions of Atmosphere. Is there a recent guide that works for the Patched 4.1.0 switch? Thanks
Lovely. Any update on the cheap hack chip for patched switches?
Not much. I heard some of its code had been leaked but I haven’t received enough proof of that to write about it.
I hope that swinch oled will be never broken
why not to port ps2linux-livedvd to the mast1c0re gameloader …
