PS Vita Release: Vita Battery Fixer 3.0
Developer SKGleba has released Battery Fixer 3.0 for PS Vita. If you’re having battery related issues with your PS vita (in particular if you’re using a 3rd party replacement Vita battery), this utility might help.
What is Battery Fixer for PS Vita
PSP2-Battery Fixer is a small utility that fixes most of PSVita’s battery-related problems.
It deletes all the temp flags from the battery chip and hard-resets all devices.
This tool was tested on firmwares 3.52 – 3.74.
This tool resets the battery controller (Abby) and reboots the system controller (Ernie) before Abby can get its calibration data. This in turn causes Ernie to do a full power cycle of all devices on Ernie startup due to bad Abby data, it also clears all the Abby calibration data and flags.
The PS+SELECT+LT+PWR+START for 10-15 secs
key combination reboots Ernie and makes it do a full power cycle of all devices on startup, including Abby, but it does NOT clear its calibration data.

PS Vita and battery issues
As a decade-old device, the PS Vita might sometimes be showing its age, and you might be tempted to replace its battery. Replacing the PS Vita battery is not extremely complicated (although unlike the PSP, Sony didn’t make it particularly easy for the Vita), and there are lots of cheap 3rd party options to choose from.
As your battery ages, its longevity might degrade, but it might also run into firmware issues. Or you might have received a 3rd party replacement that’s incorrectly configured. In many cases, this can impact the battery performance because of incorrect readings at the software level. (e.g. your battery reporting as 30% when it’s in fact full, or vice versa). This is where battery fixer can help, by resetting all the internal flags of the battery.
Download Battery Fixer for PS Vita
You can download Vita Battery Fixer from the project’s github here. You will need a hacked PS Vita (hacking the Vita is a risk-free, super easy process for all known models at the time ofthis writing) in order to run the tool.

It Can’t Fixer My OLED Vita Charge Port.
So does this reset the whole Vits or just the battery?
It says HARD RESET which makes me think the whole unit gets reset.
No sir, it only resets the battery chip, this is useful if your Vita is displaying a false dead battery warning.
Example: Your vita shows the dead battery screen and locks itself, but when you hit power you still have 40% or so.
My OLED Vita never really had that problem, but I used it anyways. idk if it actually improved things if I didn’t notice an issue.

Strange, I tried this as my battery is stuck at 96% and never goes to 100% when charging. I see the screen stating the process, however the psvita battery light is flashing green and the screen is on with no image. Is the program still working or has it crash?
