New-year sale on Amazon, Steam, Humble Bundle, and more

The last few days of December are retailers’ last chance to boost their numbers for the year, and as a prospective buyer this is an opportunity to get some good deals. The holiday season isn’t over yet, but we’re seeing retailers transition to their “New year” deals already, and I’ve tried to scout for good stuff so you don’t have to.

The Best Deals in New year sales so far

Here’s a TL,DR:

Some prices are lower than what the games were selling from during Black Friday sales. Those are probably reasonable deals IMO. I’ve highlighted those in bold.

And a few words of advice (probably obvious, but…):

For similar prices, I recommend getting a physical edition over a digital one, in particular because you can resell it later on. Physical still has more value than digital nowadays
Similarly, It’s a bit sad that Sony aren’t aggressively discounting PS4 games at this point. They cost the same as the PS5 version in most cases, so when you have the choice, go with the PS5 version.
