PS Vita: Modoru Downgrader adds 3.74 support
PS Vita 3.74 was released a few days ago, almost immediately followed by an update to the popular downgrader “Modoru”.
Developer SKGleba has released an update to the popular downgrading tool (originally developed by TheFlow), allowing it to support the latest PS Vita firmware.
Vita Firmware 3.74 is an “end of life” update from Sony, disabling some online features such as account creation on the Vita, most likely for network security reasons.
With h-encore2 and Modoru both confirmed to work with Vita 3.74, it now feels safe to upgrade to that firmware if you were already on 3.7x. Users of former firmwares, running on the trinity or h-encore exploits might consider staying there.
