GoldHEN 2.2 was released a few days ago, with an embedded cheat menu that has been a big highlight of this release. Since then, we’ve seen a few useful tools to come up for that, such as GoldCheats Updater (Windows utility), and today, a beta for GoldHEN Cheat Manager, a PS4 Tool by Damián Parrino that lets you download and update an ever growing list of cheats.

What is GoldHEN Cheats Manager for PS4

GoldHEN 2.2 ships with an embedded menu that lets you load cheatcodes for a lot of PS4 games (we covered that release here).

Tools such as Cheats Manager let you keep that list up to date.

Whether you’ll want to keep the list of cheats up to date manually, or use a windows tool such as GoldCheats Updater, or this newly released GoldHEN Cheats Manager, is up to you at this point. GoldHEN Cheats Manager, once installed, is probably the most straightforward option: run the tool, hit the “update” button, done! But it implies that your PS4 is connected online, which not all of us like to do. So, personal preference.

GoldHEN Cheats manager gets its database of cheatcodes from https://github.com/GoldHEN/GoldHEN_Cheat_Repository. We’ll have to see how often that repository gets updated with new content.

Of course the next step I’d like to see is for this automated update to simply become streamlined in GoldHEN. A mechanism that would update the list e.g. the first time I open the cheats menu for the day, or something. We’ll see 😉

Install on a Jailbroken PS4 running GoldHEN. To use, ensure your PS4 is connected to the internet, and select the “update” button. You should see any new cheat now available in the GoldHEN cheat menu.
