Developer Lapy has updated his cool Homebrew Icon Mask, a tool for your Jailbroken PS4, that lets you quickly and easily change the appearance of your PS4 icons. This new release adds a new mask method and fixes some issues with GoldHEN, among other goodies and fixes.

What is Icon Mask PS4

Icon Mask is a simple PS4 Homebrew app that lets you modify the appearance of your icons, by applying a simple PNG mask on them. This lets you tweak transparency, add borders, have your icons shown within an official-looking “PS4 box” icon, etc…. The developer notes that more options and masks will come soon.

Please note that this is a beta release and still needs to be ironed out. The developer mentions in particular:

If at any time you do not see the option to change the system icons as well, it is that the app failed to obtain R/W permissions. This happens sometimes especially with GoldHen. Try restarting the app or turning ON the FTP option in GoldHen.
