PS4 9.00 Jailbreak: Sleirsgoevy improves Webkit vulnerability stability, pOOBs4 updated
Developer sleirsgoevy has updated the 9.0 webkit exploit to fix some instability that had been reported by several people. The developer mentions this is a post-exploit instability, so it should help for people who were having trouble after a successful exploit.
This will not resolve all randomness for the exploit of course, so the best course of action to Jailbreak your 9.00 PS4 is to re-try in case of error.
Following this update, Chendochap has updated the PS4 Jailbreak itself, pOOBs4, (which contains an implementation of the webkit exploit), to add this fix as well.
How to use this PS4 9.00 Jailbreak update
- If you are self hosting the Jailbreak, make sure to update your files from the pOOBs4 github.
- If you are using one of the many public hosts, make sure they have updated to the latest version.
- Additionally, note that sleirsgoevy now hosts the Jailbreak on his github as well, in case you were looking for a very trusted host: https://sleirsgoevy.github.io/900-host/
