Release: RetroFlow-Launcher 1.1 for PS Vita
Developer jimbob4000 has released RetroFlow-Launcher 1.1 for the PS Vita, a nice little GUI for browsing and launching your Retro games on the PS Vita. RetroFlow-Launcher is a fork of HexFlow-Launcher by VitaHEX.
What is RetroFlow-Launcher for PS Vita
If you need a nice looking GUI to browse and run your Retro games on the PS Vita, RetroFlow-Launcher is for you. From the Readme:
This is a modded version of HexFlow Launcher; a 3d coverflow like launcher for PS Vita.
This version includes categories for retro games which can be launched with RetroArch and DaedalusX64, without having to create bubbles for every game!
Display and launch your retro games and homebrews in style.
RetroFlow Launcher features a 3d user interface to display your games with their box art and supports many customization options like custom covers and backgrounds.Launching a game/app from RetroFlow Launcher will close the launcher automaticaly without asking.
Supported systems:
PS Vita, PSP, Playstation, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, Game Boy, Sega Mega Drive / Genesis, Sega Master System, Sega Game Gear.
DaedalusX64 is required for N64 games. RetroArch is required for other retro systems.
Download and install RetroFlow-Launcher
You can Download RetroFlow-Launcher from the project’s github here.
Reminder: you will need a hacked PS Vita in order to run this homebrew GUI as well as the underlying games.
Installation
1. Install rePatch reloaded
Install the latest version of rePatch reloaded by SonicMastr.
The version above is different to one you may find from Autoplugin; the Autoplugin versions won’t work.
Once you’ve installed rePatch reloaded, restart your Vita for the changes to take effect.
2. Install the RetroFlow VPK’s.
Install the latest version of RetroFlow and two additional launcher VPK’s from here.
RetroFlow is the app you will use to browse games The other two VPK’s are used to launch RetroArch and DaedalusX64.
3. Add your retro games to RetroFlow
Launch RetroFlow for the first time, RetroFlow will create the folders where you can save your games.
Once it’s finshed loading; close RetroFlow and copy your favourite retro games into the relevant subfolders below:
ux0:/data/RetroFlow/ROMS/Tip: It’s important that your roms are named using the no-intro file naming convention, e.g. “Game Name (USA)” , otherwise cover images won’t be found.
4. Download covers
To download cover images, press start, then choose which covers you would like to download.

Can’t get it to work. I followed the install instructions, but when I select a game Retroflow launches RetroArch launcher which in turn lanuches RetroArch which immediately closes. Possible the issus is with Repatch Reloaded as it isn’t clear where to put repatch_ex.skprx file.
Launching the game from RetroArch directly works fine btw (I copied the ROM to both the RetroArch ROM folder and the RetroFlow one. Any help appreciated!
Never mind, I worked it out. For those instersted, I put the file in ur0:tai and then edited the config file in ux0:tai to include a line under *Kernal = ur0:tai/repatch_ex.skprx then rebooted and it seems to work.
