Switch: Firmware 12.0.3 released, don’t update just yet as your favorite tools (including Atmosphère) might need updates
Nintendo has just released firmware 12.0.3 for the Nintendo Switch. The official changelog, is of course, as useful as ever, stating that this new update brings “General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.”
What matters to the scene however is that this update might break some of our favorite homebrew tools. SciresM reports that Atmosphère in particular might need a minor update to remain compatible, although some conflicting reports state Atmosphère 0.19.3 works just fine on the latest 12.0.3 Switch firmware… When in doubt, just wait and don’t rush to update.
There are conflicting reports that 0.19.3 works fine, if it does then that’s good news.
Either way I’ll make sure stuff is sorted out as soon as I can.

Bottom line, stay put and sit on this update, until hackers confirm that your usual tools (Atmosphère, Hekate, and whatever you might be using) are still working.

Good news. And for the patched consoles by Nintendo, do you have any news ? The console I have starts with the serial number “XKJ200048xxxxxx”, apparently not hackable. What to do ?
