PS5 firmware Update 21.01-03.10.00 released (avoid updating if possible)
Sony released Firmware 21.01-03.10.00 today for the PlayStation 5, a few days after the previous iteration was released. For those of you who hope to get their PS5 hacked one day, we recommend you do not update, if possible (more on this below).
PS5 21.01-03.10.00. What’s new?
Basically, this firmware update adds nothing new compared to the previous release, except for the infamous “stability update”, which probably means a few critical (but unknown) bugs have been patched since 21.01-03.00.00. Some people report this might have fixed some issues related to HDMI link compatibility.
PS5 21.01-03.10.00. Should I update?
If you’re one of the few lucky owners of a PS5, but are hoping to get a PS5 Jailbreak one day, you’ll have a tough decision to make on whether to update your console or not. There is no PS5 Jailbreak available at the moment, and having any chance of a hack for the console could take months or years. However, if/when a hack is released for the PS5, it is very likely it will only work on lower firmwares. Those of us who will have kept a launch PS5 with the firmware it came with, will have a higher chance of getting a hack for their consoles.
But if you’re a gamer, or if the idea of waiting years to be able to use your console for hacks doesn’t seem enticing, this firmware update will probably be compulsory for you.
You might want to get two consoles: one for gaming, one for hacking. But with the global shortage of PS5s going on, getting a PS5 is already almost impossible, let alone 2 of them. If that’s a possibility for you though, go for it.

PS5 games will have denuvo protection in the future. Even if it’s hacked, it may take months to crack games.(see pc games)
Piracy shouldn’t be your main reason for jailbreaking anyway.
they used Denuvo also for PS4 games and they still cracked it within minutes, Denuvo is useless if your console is jailbroken or not. A jailbroken console can still decrypt the protected games
they only use the anti cheat protection, not the piracy

PS5s are nothing special.The hype on them is stupid and have major stick drift that Sony doesnt never fixes.To wait for a jailbreak right now is totally a dumb thing to do.Everybody is starting to get rid of theirs on facebook and marketplace for almost normal pricing now.Its totally funny.
Two PS5 are for ridiculous! Waste money. I have one and that’s good enough. I can wait longer if I have to. I have a PS4 games with jailbreak to play. No problem. Sorry about my English. 🙂
