KyuHEN Vita Homebrew contest: cash prizes total now above $1000
A few days ago we mentioned a new PS Vita homebrew contest is currently running. Kyuhen lets you submit PS Vita homebrew games or tools, with 4 categories you can enter. The contest started with $455 in prizes, but that number has now climbed to more than $1000, according to the contest’s ko-fi page. This is thanks to the many anonymous folks on the scene contributing with donations.
You have until end of May to submit your entry, so this leaves you a little less than 2 months to submit your homebrew.
With more than $1000 in prizes, this makes it one of the largest Homebrew competitions for the Vita ever, on par with the 2015 Revitalize homebrew competition. So here’s to hoping we’ll get some cool homebrew out of this.

someone needs to make a freeshop esc system for the vita and ps3 if sony isnt going to preserve games we need a way to do it ourselves

Ya fool PKGj relies on the Sony servers to pull those PKG files from the internet. They pull the plug on those servers PKGj will be useless.
You are still able to download purchased ones
Unless you have purchased the whole PSVITA, PS3, PSP and PS1 library then you are safe for now. Who knows? Maybe in the future they will also remove that feature because of “We want to improve our network service for Playstation 9000.” reasons.
The guys from NoPayStation mentioned on reddit, they are going to archive anything if Sony shuts down their service.
