As for what is actually lost, archive.org does have a version from the 8th of october: https://web.archive.org/web/20201008181820/http://wololo.net/
Granted getting data out of that one will probably not be viable.

In general automatic backups are your friend, just make sure to regularly check if they are being made properly.

If the archive.org backup is accurate, there’s only 3 pages of posts between June and now which is max 30 articles to restore which I’m sure could be done manually copy paste into your backend CMS in a day or 2? The comments won’t be there but at least the content will.

If archive.org is accurate there are only 30 posts to restore between Jun 1st and now which would only take 1-2 days manually copying and pasting.

Comments won’t be there but at least you’ll have all the content.

Really glad you´re back. But how is it possible to not make a backup at least once a month when running a great site like this? Once a week should be recommended but at least once a month. Hopefully everything can get restored with the above tips.
