Switch Release: MissionControl 0.3.0 released with support for Shield Controller, Wii TaTaCon Drum & various other controllers
With the Nintendo Switch effectively being the king of handheld devices and having a decent multiplayer game library, various people need multiple controllers and MissionControl lets you use your existing ones very easily! In this article, we’re going to look at the release of MissionControl 0.3.0 which supports more controllers and fixes some issues among other things.
What is MissionControl?
Once installed, MissionControl works seamlessly with the Switch’s OS allowing you to pair as easily as you’d pair joycons or a Pro Controller!
As the introduction suggests, MissionControl is a sysmodule for the Nintendo Switch that allows you to wirelessly use unsupported controllers with your Nintendo Switch without any extra hardware. This sysmodule, by ndeadly, is compatible with Atmosphere 0.14.2 (& above) and works through the Controllers applet meaning that connecting controllers can be done through native means thus requiring no real setup!
Released in late August, MissionControl has received various updates in order to expand the supported controller list and at this point, it supports the vast majority of popular controllers including the DualShock 4, some XBOX One X/S controllers, the Wii U Pro controller, various iPega controllers and more.
