GDC 2020 moved to Summer over Corona Virus fears.
Yesterday, the Gamer Developers Conference posted an article on their blog in which they say that they have postponed the Game Developers Conference (which was originally supposed to be held in March) until the summer, although they never specified which day, or even month, in the summer. They say “As everyone has been reminding us, great things happen when the community comes together and connects at GDC. For this reason, we fully intend to host a GDC event later in the summer.” Many companies that were supposed to appear at the Game Developers Conference weren’t going to be there anyway, due to the Corona Virus. Personally, I fully expected big events like GDC to start cancelling due to these fears. Honestly, we should just be glad that the event will be back in the summer. I’m looking forward to it, and I’m sure you all will be too.
