Switch: Atmosphère 0.8.6 released, fixes bugs and brings 1.0.0 compatibility back

Developer SciresM has published a new release of the popular Nintendo Switch Custom Firmware Atmosphère. This release fixes an incredible amount of bugs, and in particular restores compatibility with firmware 1.0.0. (Atmosphere is compatible up to the latest Switch Firmware 7.0.1).
The Custom Firmware ships with hbl and hblmenu, meaning it’s ready to load and run homebrews out of the box.
Additionally to some bug fixes, this new version improves the cheat engine to allow for more elaborate cheats in the future; it also now enables Homebrew to launch web applets. Also, STABILITY.

I still dont understand why people stay on 1.0.0 firmware when they can just downgrade back to it at any point when they want…
Apparently there’s a way to get cold boot on 1.0. They touted this back in 2017.
