Developer CPasJuste has ported the awesome ScummVM to the Nintendo Switch. You’ll of course need a hacked Switch (for now, this means running on firmware 3.0.0) in order to run this.
What is ScummVM for Nintendo Switch?
Those of us who grew up in the nineties will probably fondly remember some of the old LucasArts and other point and click adventure games. Others… might still want to check the oddly dated but cute graphics of some of these games!
From the official ScummVM page:
ScummVM is a program which allows you to run certain classic graphical point-and-click adventure games, provided you already have their data files. The clever part about this: ScummVM just replaces the executables shipped with the games, allowing you to play them on systems for which they were never designed!
ScummVM supports many adventure games, including LucasArts SCUMM games (such as Monkey Island 1-3, Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max, …), many of Sierra’s AGI and SCI games (such as King’s Quest 1-7, Space Quest 1-6, …), Discworld 1 and 2, Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2, Beneath A Steel Sky, Lure of the Temptress, Broken Sword 1 and 2, Flight of the Amazon Queen, Gobliiins 1-3, The Legend of Kyrandia 1-3, many of Humongous Entertainment’s children’s SCUMM games (including Freddi Fish and Putt Putt games) and many more.
The developer mentions that this is an early release that still contains a few glitches (in particular lack of sound effects in a few popular Scumm games), however people over at GBATemp are reporting that this release is working pretty smoothly already.
(and despite the release date, no, this is not an April fools)

your mother must be proud
Owning a hacked switch keeps getting better and better. Thanks Nintendo for having bad security, hacked in just a year haha.
Yeah. 300 dollar for some old roms. Wow.
Now I expect the usual idiot Daube provençale to come here and write how much better atari 3bit games emulated on Vita are compared to new games.
