Dragon Ball FighterZ closed beta registration postponed
Registration for the Dragon Ball FighterZ closed beta on PS4/Xbox One is postponed until 22nd August 2017. Sign-ups for the highly anticipated 2D fighting game were supposed to go live today.
Bandai Namco explains pushing back (the registration date) of the DBFZ closed beta:
Due to the volume of excitement and enthusiasm surrounding this announcement, we have decided to expand the capacity of the closed beta in an effort to enable more players to participate in the program.
We are also working to bolster our background systems to ensure that the closed beta registration and selection process can accept the volume of anticipated sign-ups. However, these efforts will necessitate a slight delay for the closed beta sign-up date, which will move to 22nd August, 2017.
Additionally, Arc Systems will try to include more than the thus far announced DBZ characters in the closed beta. I’m curious to learn which Z warriors will be playable next to Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Cell, Frieza, Majin Buu, Piccollo, Krillin & Trunks.
