VITABattery – A Plugin that displays current battery percentage
What is VITABattery?
I never liked the idea that the PS VITA never displayed your current battery status as a percentage. They never gave us an option to at at least use it a feature that can be turned on or off either. Fear not, as I have decided to release a simple light weight plugin packed with a nifty little feature that lets you do just that. This ‘nifty little feature’ simply displays the battery status in time (hours and mins remaining).

Battery percentage being displayed in-game.
Instructions:
Put “batteryPercent.suprx” in ux0:/tai folder in your PS Vita.
Open ux0:/tai/config.txt and add the following:
# titleid for your application
*RAND0666
ux0:tai/batteryPercent.suprx
Then press (Select + Up) to view your battery percentage, or (Select + Right) to view your battery life time. You can use either (Select + Down) or (Select + Left) to close either of the displays.
Please note for the battery status in time, this approximation may not always be correct. For example at some point it can jump from 6 hours remaining to 5 or 4 hours especially if you tend to use sleep mode a lot. However as you continue using your PS VITA, a somewhat average timing should appear.
The download link can be found over at my GitHub here. Feel free to discuss, or report issues on wololo.net/talk.
nice im going to give this plugin a try thanks
This is the first plugin I’ve really wanted to install, but I’d like to ask if you have to write an entry in config.txt for every app you want to use, or is there a line you can use to have the plugin work with every app?
Yes there is!
You write: *ALL
I use it a lot, it’s very useful
This saves me from going into adrenaline and checking my Vita’s battery through the psp. Just what I’ve been looking for lately bc the Vita doesn’t have anything to see exactly where the battery life is. Can someone also make a psp-go clock for vita homebrew. Thanks!
Jeez that seemed quite tedious. You have to boot up the epsp bubble, wait for the PSP boot, then check the battery. You could’ve just used VITAident, but no worries this plugin was created for a reason.
Dope, Fresh!
Now if we can just get a plugin that gives us more control over brightness…
It’s much useful but……it will let my Adrenaline and ARK crash and never playable, so I just put it away:(
