Vita Homebrew Browser – GekiHEN contest
It seems that the closer we get to the end of the contest, the more homebrew we’re getting. Oh wait.. The end date is already over so who knows what’s up with that but good homebrew is still good homebrew. Vita Homebrew Browser is one of the latest and probably most interesting piece of homebrew of the contest.
What’s Vita Homebrew Browser?
As the name suggests, it’s a piece of software that lets you install homebrew directly from your device. Yeps, like the older VPKMirror installer, this one allows you to directly install homebrew to your Vita. The only difference is that this homebrew uses the more up to date VitaDB service from Rinnegatamante. The app provides a very easy to use interface in which you can select and browse homebrew with. You may also check apps as per their category. Vita Homebrew Browser installs the apps for you in a few seconds but it may take longer depending on the file size of the homebrew you wish to get. Needless to say, you need a WiFi (or 3G) connection.

How can I get this homebrew?
Quite simple! Just go to the GekiHEN link at the bottom of this article and download the VPK from there. Install it via VitaShell and it may as well be the last time you use another device to install something on your PSVita. Remember that the homebrew isn’t completely finished so there may be some issues. On the first boot, it takes a minute or two so don’t worry, it hasn’t crashed! The developer is “Devnoname120” so any issues about the app should be sent to them not Rinnegatamante. You may read about what’s planned for future releases by checking out the GekiHEN page.

It just crashes on my Vita.
It also crashes on my Vita after around two minutes of loading.
Can I be a proofreader of Aurora’s articles? I don’t think I’ve seen one yet without mistakes… (Even her signature has mistakes… “I’m a girl that’s always…” “who” is for people, “that” is for objects… Is Aurora calling herself an object?)

“who” is ONLY for people, “that” can be for people AND objects. You usually use who for people since the 11th century, but “that” isn’t totally wrong
Although “that” is accepted for oral speech and informal conversations, articles and formal contexts should stick to “who”.
I totally agree with you guys, Ms Aurora deserves the same fate as me.

Can anyone advise on the crashing issue? I install it run it and yen secs in it crashes…:(
If it crashes, then you need to make sure that your Vita is connected to the Internet and working and then you can launch it again.

Hi, was using homebrew browser, and i saw that there was the homebrew browser itself listed in the new category. So i was wondering if i install it from there, would it be like an update? So i done it and it gave me error installing the package and now it says that with every single package, please how do i fix this? HHB was so handy i dont want to download things on pc and then put it on the vita again
