FBI for 3DS updated to v2.4.4, support for waithax added
To those not in the know about the ins-and-outs of the 3DS hacking scene and how to hack their 3DS’ , I would recommend checking out this website. It’s constantly up-to-date with the latest methods to install Homebrew Launcher/CFW on all hackable 3DS models and firmwares. It is so thorough and complete that it would beat any guide I could conjure up. If your 3DS isn’t hacked yet, give it a try! Keep in mind that all the files are provided as torrents because you can’t legally link to most of the files used.
If there is a tool that is almost assuredly in everyone 3DS’, that tool has got to be steveice10‘s FBI (closely followed by JK’s Save Manager). In case you are unaware of what FBI is, it is the most-widely used tool to install .cia files on your 3DS which can be homebrew or game dumps. There are two features that make FBI truly shine as a tool and those are its sockfile feature along with the QR code reading. One allows you to remotely install stuff over WiFi and the other allows you to install stuff over the internet without ever leaving the application. It’s so handy that I can’t understand how a hacked 3DS user can use it without having this installed.
This latest update to FBI focuses on improving performance of the application, as well as improving support for the latest waithax exploit. It also adds the option to re-use the last few QR code links that you’ve scanned.
What is FBI?
Aptly named (probably on purpose, though unconfirmed) because of its usage as a .cia file installer, FBI is a must-have tool on your 3DS. It allows you to install stuff on your 3DS from your SD Card, your PC via WiFi or from the internet using a QR code. It also doubles as a fully-featured file manager with all the features you’d expect out of one. It is available in every homebrew format created for the 3DS.

If you prefer to download it directly from here, just click on whichever file you are going to use whether it is .3dsx, .3ds or .cia.

One of my favorite features is the uninstall ticket part. I love this app.
