Release: PS Minecraft Resource converter, for your hacked PS vita
A few days ago, developer darkenvy released PS Minecraft Resource converter for your PS Vita running HENkaku. The tool, as the name implies, lets you convert PC texture packs from 1.8+ on PC, in to a format compatible with your PS Vita.
The tool requires nodejs and imageMagick. In other words, you’ll need to run it in a linux shell or cygwin on Windows. Once the script has run on your input texture pack, you’ll need to copy he resulting files into your minecraft texture folder. The readme on the tool’s github gives details.
This is a nice little tool for Minecraft fans out there. Looking forward to future releases, hopefully with something that works a bit more “out of the box” for people who do not want to play with scripts.

The first thing just to say first is really stupid… So what is happening with customprotocol.com and the GekiHen contest? Seems to be offline…
Hi Danny,
We (customprotocol.com) have problems with our website host, so we are migrating to another host. I’m really sorry for the inconveniance, for the moment you can submit your entry here -> http://www.psx-place.com/threads/vita-pstv-gekihen-homebrew-contest-submit-new-entries-here.11982/
@vinz: Yes, you’re first, it’s totally-awesomely-fully-completely-absolutely-stupid to come just to write that, congrats for your first prize!!! ¬_¬
@Wirus: Thanks for the update info, GekiHen contest should receive a bit more “word spreading”.
It should… Where are the files being hosted? I’m not a developer as I don’t have any skills other than playing guitar which unfortunately is about making music rather than games. If anybody wants game music though I’m down to do it for free…
Is this for the official Minecraft for Vita?
Wow! It’s awesome. Something Minecraft should done. Thanks for thinking outside the box. Good job DarkEnvy.
