Sometimes a release comes along that leaves me little to work with in terms of a descriptions. This is one of those cases. Developer NamelessGhoul0 in a new entrant into the GekiHEN contest and he could not have done so in a more vintage manner.

Does the name Pong ring a bell? Many people like to say it is the very first video game ever made. Although if we’re being truthful, we’d have to refer to the game Tennis for Two made in 1958 using an oscilloscope. Pong can however be considered the first video game made for mass consumption.

NamelessGhoul0‘s version of Pong tries to emulate the design of designer Ralph Baer, inventor of the old-school Magnavox Odyssey.

What is Pong?

It’s the simplest game ever made, yet possibly the most influential game ever made. It spawned a plethora of consoles and to this day there are people that will still play it. Now you can do the same on your PS Vita.
