Following the resounding success of SUMOHaX, developer Red is back to serve all of you 3DS owners out there (yes, this time the plugin works will all 3DS models). The game for which this new plugin was made for is Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past, one of the two games from the popular Square-Enix franchise released on the 3DS. Much like the Moon/Sun cheat engine, this one includes a bunch of codes allowing you to manipulate a variety of game variables to make the game feel more… customized.

What is SUMOHaX?

DragonHaX is a cheat-engine for the 3DS game Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past developed by Red (of Modding of Isaac and SUMOHaX fame). It comes with a plethora of cheat codes for all your cheating needs that range from MAX XP/HP/Gold to stat manipulation. So if you want to play the game but you feel the grindiness of JRPGs is too much for you, you may be able to take a few shortcuts with this, you dirty cheaters!

How-to use

Installation:

1. Download and install BootNTR selector to your system is you do not have it already

2. Download DragonHaX from the main site and extract it to your plugin folder on the 3ds

3. Launch bootNTR and wait to be kicked to the home menu

Using the plugin:

Press [Select] to shows up the menu
–> You can navigate in the menu with the DPAD Key UP and DOWN
–> Press A to activate / de-activate a cheat
–> Press B to exit the menu and return to the game
–> You can change the hotkey for showing up the menu by pressing [Start] in the menu
–> You can adjust the speed of the cheats execution by pressing [Select] in the menu
Tip:
— You can easily navigate in a spoiler with those keys:
–> DPAD Key Left: Go back to the upper line of the spoiler
–> DPAD Key Right: Go to the last line of the spoiler
