There is nothing different between this and adrenaline if you ask me. This just installs the plugin for you so you can’t mess up the directory path least that’s what it looks like to me…

      • Typhoon_Neon says:

Exactly. It’s for people who have problems with manual installation and configuration, which from what I’ve seen is a lot of people unfortunately.

  2. Kokumotsu says:

There isnt a mention of needing a PSP game or mini in Tue article.
Does this bypass that method? Because that would be a dream
Especially now with psn access being terminated

  3. Valerkos says:

Looks like there is a wrong code in the config file. My vita was black at the selected game but when i wrote the write code it works fine

  4. Doug says:

The PSP game you use to install once done can you get rid of game files to save space

    • d4rk51d3 says:

No, It’s used as a hook each time you want to run Adrenaline.

      • dalton230 says:

Yep this is true… Adrenaline cannot function without a host based game. If you try yourself to rip the Eboot PBP of the based game. If will give you an error.

  5. zack says:

Have any one tested with 6.60 firmware?

  6. dalton230 says:

Yep this solve my reluctant modding of icons and theme for adrenaline ^_^ Cheers

This EasyInstaller came at a perfect time. I’ve been meaning to get my 3.60 Vita a bit more up to date with the interesting homebrews that have come out over the past month or so, and Adrenaline is definitely the best of those I’ve seen so far. Team Molecule and TheFloW on his own have been the lynchpin of the Vita scene; we’d have precious little without them.

My experience of EasyInstaller has been very positive. After enabling unsafe homebrew in taiHENkaku’s version of MolecularShell and making sure my base game (22MB PSP Mini title Arcade Darts, bought back in the 3.18 modding days for TN-V) was installed, it ran and did the config without issue. It even helpfully reminded to place a 661.PBP in the right directory after install, a step I’d missed. Upon reboot and opening Adrenaline it all configured itself without issue, dropping me into the PSP config settings. I must say the new upscaling options are much nicer than the default Sony ones. LCD3x is a dead ringer for the screen on my old blue PSP-3000 with the scanlines, just a bit darker because it’s on an OLED display – I bet on the PS Vita Slim it would look near-identical.

Excellent work there TheFloW, and Freakler too for making it mostly n00b-friendly (or saving those that can do the standard install the trouble of doing so). As someone who wasted hours getting TN-V and Rejuvenate going in the past it’s impressive how easy the whole HENkaku thing has made it, which is why there’s something of a Vita scene again now.

Right, time to play some PSP games… 😀

    • Zeke says:

Oh, as an additional point my PSP Mini base game Arcade Darts was actually still modded and showing as TN-V when I used qCMA to transfer it across, but this caused zero issues. Adrenaline just installs right over the top; I assume as long as the license for the game is valid and it opens (it did but obviously on 3.60 the old 3.5x and below kernel exploits have long since been patched, so it just hangs) that’s all Adrenaline needs to get the PSPemu running.

  8. NiMR0D says:

Hi I applied the theme but the base game still name Locoroco didnt change to Adrenaline

  9. simon says:

i didnt have a psp demo , what can i do to download it ? cause ofc i cant get on ps store with 3.60 :(…any help?

  10. Zeroki says:

Does adrenaline allow ps1 backups? If so in what file format should it be? Eboot.pbp?

  11. Godzillaah says:

Aww… Still no real CFW for PS Vita, I don’t need this because I have my PSP 3004 still with me.

  12. Brandon says:

Is there supposed to be a VPK in that file? There isn’t one when I downloaded it

  13. Nani says:

I have a vita with memory card not linked to PSN account.
How do I let it read the contents without PSN login.

I restored my Vita for some orange light blinking twice and turning off problem, now all I have is a fresh vita with database rebuilt, and a memory card which is not accessible as it asks me to sign in before connecting to Content manager.

I couldnt update fw, neither login, neither use memory card contents.
And Henkaku is also not installing as I dnt have access to memory card.

Please, I am few steps away from enjoying HENKAKU. KINDLY HELP.

I can’s seem to get my psp isos working, i launch the game and it gets stuck at the psp white screen and then gives me the C1-2858-3 error

    • Junaz says:

Why does no one ever google the error code? Easier and a faster solution than asking a question already answered several times. Not trying to be a jerk. I used to do the same but one day realized that it’s an error “code” meaning there has to be a reference explaining the error. I was right. Even when it comes to homebrew. A search of the error code and maybe the name of the app will lead you to a much quicker answer. When it comes to new releases the error code will usually return search results of several forums where the code was questioned and explained already. It would save a ton of grief… but admittedly it DID take me a few years to become aware of the usefulness of a search engine for these things XD

You can easily get a psp demo if you have a ps3 handy. Even if PSN is gone on Vita you can still search the PSn store on ps3 foe Half minute hero, if that doesnt work try Echochrome. Good luck

  24. ZoSar says:

Is there ANY possibility to make this thing work with a download of a PSP-Game/Demo NOT from the store?
That, for example someone posts his PSP-game for all the others who couldn’t access the store anymore and don’t have a legit PSP-file on their system?

  25. Crisp Viper says:

Need to upload the file again, for some reason mediafire has removed the file.
