This has been a pretty calm month for releases so far which is weird considering September was a non-stop month for releases on all sides. We should still expect some good stuff this month, especially on the side of game translations. However the GekiHEN Contest is still going and we’ve got a release here from developer Flappy Jesus which is his “first vita exclusive homebrew game“. Hopefully, this is just the start for this month, so let’s keep our fingers crossed for more releases this month!

What is Bernard Chronicles?

Bernard Chronicles is a game based on the same mechanics as Tetris Attack and the Pokémon Puzzle games. For those that don’t know how those games, they were spinoffs of their own series developed by Intelligent Systems where instead of matching blocks coming from the aether on top of the screen, you have to swap blocks that come from under you in a line on numbers of 3 or more. It’s a fun concept and while this is a preliminary version, the developer has promised adding features that include a campaign.
