VitaOrganizer v0.5.1 released, more features added
While apparently I missed the major v0.5 update to VitaOrgnizer, developer soywiz came back with another update (this time a minor one) bringing his application to version 0.5.1. While VitaOrganizer is coded in Java to support all major platforms (OSx, Windows and Linux) with these new releases there is now the availability of an exe file for Windows users who don’t want to run their application from the Java jar file.
What is VitaOrganizer?
VitaOrganizer is a desktop tool for listing and uploading games and homebrew applications to PSVITA without the size requirements of uploading the whole VPK and extracting it later. Other features include telling you if a VPK is installed or not while connected over FTP and the ability to tell if a VPK is safe or not. New features included in these last two updates include a filtering feature and dumper Version/compression level information.

I’ve used this or slightly earlier version to get MGS3 VPK across to my Vita. Enough space for the game but not enough to copy it and install because of the doubling problem. VitaOrganizer got it sent across and installed, no reboot. Game fired up perfectly first time. Nicer than my MGS Collection gamecart which took up more space (not really concerned with MGS2… meh) and didn’t run anyway due to needing key .suprx files which Vitamin can’t patch, TheFloW said so himself.
Hey i’ve been using this and it keeps on repeatedly crashing with Java Binary…. is their any fix to this?
