VitaShell 1.1, update with minor fixes
Well apparently developer TheFloW has just updated VitaShell to version 1.1. This version only features minor fixes, mostly with the music player which was just implemented in version 1.0. Also, as a correction to my article yesterday TheFloW said the following about the ability to lock screen and easily switch tracks:
@frwololo@thekftX you actually can skip tracks and lock buttons 🙂

So there you go, it’s probably already a more featured music player than the Vita’s built-in one, just because it has useful features.
What is VitaShell?
VitaShell is a file manager and FTP server for the PS Vita (and now a music player too!), which can be used as a replacement for molecularShell in HENkaku. the molecularShell distributed with HENkaku is actually a fork of VitaShell. VitaShell won the Revitalize competition last year.
Changelog VitaShell 1.1
- Added cover.jpg and folder.jpg as alternative cover image.
- Fixed ID3 tag parsing.
- Play and pause icons where swapped, fixed.
- FTP does now show ‘Please wait…’ until it has been connected to Wi-Fi.
Download VitaShell 1.1
To download the latest VitaShell version, all you have to do is head to the developer’s GitHub and grab the latest release. I’ll put the direct link here as usual for the lazy.
Enjoy the release!

Nice, thanks for all the hard work TheFloW 🙂
Should I keep the molecularShell bubble and delete VitaShell bubble or vice versa? and if I uninstall molecularShell, HENkaku is still gonna work right?
