Binding of Isaac Mod Conversion Kit 2.2, GUI update
Some people just never stop working, do they? Developer Red has just updated his Binding of Isaac Mod Converter tool to version 2.1. It’s more akin to a bugfix/user experience fix update than nothing else but still worth reporting on since we never did a full article covering the release of version 2.0 and simply amended the original article.
What is the Binding of Isaac Mod Conversion Kit?
The Binding of Isaac Mod Conversion Kit is a tool developed by Red over at Se7vensins forums and is a simple Windows tool (sorry non-Windows users) that allows you to convert any PC mod for the game Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (BoI: Afterbirth is not supported since it did not come out for the Vita or 3DS) which is a roguelite game released on almost all gaming platforms besides mobile. It is a great game and costs about $15 on the US Playstation Store. If the base game is not enough for you, guess what? You can now even convert PC mods and use them on your console too!
The requirements for the usage of this application is that you dump your own copy of the game and extract it, then just let the program know where the GFX folder of your game and mod are so it can work its magic. Repack the mod as a vpk and install onto your console! Simple enough, isn’t it?

To download the latest version of the BoI Mod Conversion Kit just head over to the Se7ensins release thread (or alternatively his GitHub) or get the download directly from here. If you want to report bugs or just give Red some kudos for his work, you can do so on the release thread or on Twitter @Red7s or the issue tracker on his GitHub.
As soon as I’m done with writing article, I’m gonna look me up some mods to use with this. If you are a BoI fan and have been around since the beginning I recommend the music restoration mod by reddit user Mr. Gaytes. I missed the original music so much and this is just the thing to scratch my itch.
As usual everyone, enjoy the release!

Red’s done a lot for the binding of isaac community on the vita. If you ever see this, thanks!
don’t starve mods?
I’ve been looking into Don’t Starve. It’s files are stored in an encrypted ARC file. Without getting around the encryption you can’t do much with the game
