Release: Labyrinth3D for PS Vita
Developer Rinnegatamante released a 3D game for the PS Vita, to demonstrate his port of the RayCast3D engine on Lua for the PS Vita.
The goal of the game is to escape a maze. You have limited “scrolls” to mark a wall as a place you’ve already been through. The Developer mentions that each maze is generated randomly.
The concept is simple but pretty entertaining, and more importantly serves as a good showcase of the 3D library. Building your own games in Lua is in general simpler than with compiled languages such as C++, and this could bring us some cool releases in the future if people start playing with the RayCast3D engine.
