      Countdown till ePSP

    • n says:

wont happen for a very long time.

      • Sephirothskr says:

With the progress their making, it probably won’t be that long. I could care less bout pirated Vita games, I only care about having everything that the psp can do with its cfw, AND PS vita homebrew apps which open the possibility for better emulators, such as the nintendo 64, if anyone ever wants to attempt it

          im with u 100%

my friend made a ps4 emu for vita, will be releasing soon…
          seriously…
the emu will be able to run ps3 emu in itself, and that emu will run n64 and snes, which will run all mini emu (ds, gameboy etc) in that emu itself……its the biggest chain emu collection for vita….
          CHAIN:
          Vita -> PS4 -> PS3 -> N64 -> SNES -> DS, Gameboy, Turbo etc……..
          beep beep beep….wtfbooooom!!

Firssssst! more than likely this is not the first comment and then my life will spiral downhill full of depression until the very end where i shoot myself 🙁

  5. Rufis_ says:

Actually you can’t use this release on PSTV as it requires an USB connection with pc. Host0: is missing

  6. Rufus says:

I’m not quite sure but cant you do the same with the PSP Emulator to get back at playing PSP Games?
I mean like taking the Emulator from a DevKit Vita?

  7. drasglaf says:

The Vita scene is advancing so fast now! I can’t wait to be able to play PSP and PSX games on it. I think I’ve paid enough times for those games.

  8. Thebigboss1206 says:

I did the tutorial but no “host0:/package” to me. Why?

    • Dmaskell92 says:

it’s not needed, for PSV use USB, for PSTV use VitaUpdateBlocker (for 3.60) and connect via wifi.

Not fully tested but I read it from hackinformer.

Noob question : what is DEX and CEX ?

    • grim_reaper69 says:

CEX is retail units, normal vitas that most likely me and you have. DEX is development units , designed for debugging and stuff. There is also IDU which is demo units.

  10. Marcelo says:

boa galera Desde que eu instaled vita IDU quando eu voltar do modo de demonstração com L + R + UP + START o meu dispositivo desliga depois de um tempo automaticaly.plz me ajudar.
    Existe uma maneira de desinstalá-lo?

  11. Biff627 says:

Sadly I cant even get it to show up… The database shows Package Installer in there both on sqlite editor and that bubble studio thing, but the vita just wont show it.

md5 of one of the good VitaRW.vpk circulating is 0cb0ba9899a5be56c33ee9a5d8d05005
Be very careful, do what you need to do, and then reboot your Vita to secure your system partitions afterwards.
    You have been warned!

  15. BLiZZARD says:

Everytime I Run VitaRW it still doesnt enable read/write permissions for me :\ I tried so many times but it wont let me transfer or delete the NPXS10031 folder in vs0:app/

  16. Tio says:

Any way to convert this in VPk format for easy installation and permanent, because can be deleted on rebuild database. (sorry for poor english)

  17. Mick0204 says:

i got the pkg installer working on my vita, unfortunately it is no use as I cannot get either opencma or qcma to connect to my vita to transfer the pkgs 🙁

  18. Duppex says:

Just followed your method but when I start package installer connect PS Vita by USB I cannot see any of the package files.

Checked location on PC and its OK. Also when I press the bottom right tab on the PS Vita Package installer I get the following message.

An error occurred in the following application. (C2-12828-1)

Does my Vita need to be activated before I can transfer files?
If yes is there any app for that?
What version of CMA PC, should I be using?

    Ta

  19. isabel says:

im super intrested in this (specially cuz i can try games im intrested in and see if i should really buy them or not) but is this invasible on the vita? because you have to edit one file right? if i want to, can i revert those process? like if i where to update my vita, what would happen then?

  20. TwojaStara says:

HI! I can install a YT with this?? Someone have a .pkg for it??

  21. Duppex says:

I restored my Vita to factory settings then put in my PSN detail on start up.

    Then ran PS Vita activator.

My PSN on my PC now shows Vita activated.

When I try to connect to QCMA all I get is connecting for about 10 seconds then fail to connect.

  22. Duppex says:

OK after about 7 hours trying to get this to work with no joy. This is how I finally got it to work for me. (May/May not work for you).

(Make sure not to update your Vita to 3.61 by mistake)

I have a new blue slim PS Vita that came with the firmware 3.52.

Sony had already released 3.61, so I had to use QCMA to manually update to 3.60.

Created a PSN account using my PC, then reset the Vita to factory settings then on start up put in my PSN account details into my Vita.

(When you Vita has loaded up to the start screen make sure to go into settings and turn of auto update download)

Loaded PS Vita update blocker and PS Vita activator to get my PSN account on my PC to show PS Vita now activated.

I used the post guide also you-tube guide to install the package installer.

(I used the post DEX installer file instead of the you-tube guide CEX file)

Removed all CMA and QCMA programs and files from my PC.

Installed QCMA then used (zadig_2.2) to replace the driver file.

    Installed CMA.

Checked that update blocker still running then lunched QCMA and all is working now.

As I said probably don’t have to take all above steps but if it works for you then Cool.

  23. Mick0204 says:

Turns out my problem was 64bit winblows 10. Tried it on 32bit win7 and QCMA worked first time

  24. Yskar says:
