Let’s see what Nintendo is preparing 4 us this time 🙂

NX have a good concept , i hope that it will get the support needed

  3. Roshuou says:

Go on, Nintendo. Do what Sony is unable to do (or at least too lazy for it) and keep the true handheld console market alive.

  4. Dengar says:

I don’t quite understand. I do own a Wii U. Why should I feel cheated?

    • Reprep says:

Previous generation (Wii) lasted for 6 years while Wii U lasts for 4 years and 3 months. Third party support for Wii U was nearly absent. Even though there were quality first party games, they were few.

At first Nintendo told NX wouldn’t replace Wii U, but it seems unlikely as “Outlook for fiscal year ending March 31, 2017” part mentions nothing about Wii U.

These are just my opinions of course.

      • Dengar says:

I see how all those things you mention can be a thing. But I merely see those things as unfortunate. When was the NX announced? 2 years ago? Maybe they expected the Wii U to have some kind of ‘second wind’, which it didn’t get. Right now it’s more profitable to just release the last few major games for it and then just uhh, leave it. Not to die, I mean the services for it would still be active. But like, not release much new *** for its rather small install base.

      • SsJVasto says:

A side thought about the lack of third-party support:

James Rolfe (AVGN, Cinemassacre) talked about an obscure console that didn’t have any third-party support, but there wasn’t that much to say about it: All the games were first-party top-quality games. When the people making the game also make the game system, they most likely know what they’re doing.

    • perfect match says:

the words WiiU and cheated have always worked well together, as much as i love nintendo im glad i never wasted my cash on a WiiU.

    • wes says:

Because Wii U will be the first Nintendo system to not get its own Zelda game like every other Nintendo console has

      • Alex says:

That’s a rather weak reason. Besides, it’s getting that new Zelda at the same time as the NX, so it’s not even true.

  5. Me says:

The last part of the topic makes me want to post this:

I have 2 [secondhand] Wii U, one for online, and another for loadiine.
The only reason i bought Wii U is for playing MK8, Zelda, XCX and FE. And i have no single regret for that, even if i had to bought original games for those 4.

    That’s all 😀

    • You says:

You mean you bought Wii U for 3 games*

At this rate Zelda is going to be delayed for the NX

      • Dengar says:

No that’s actually happening. I don’t really see the problem with that though. Not only will the game reach a wider audience, but it will also help sell more NX units to people who don’t already have a Wii U.

      • TehCupcakes says:

Nintendo has already stated multiple times it WILL be released on Wii U. Even if it’s released on NX as well, a Wii U owner still gets the privilege of playing it on their console without buying a new system.

Furthermore, he never actually said which Zelda game… Could have been referring to Wind Waker: HD, which is a very solid game, even if it is a port/remake.

      • wes says:

This is already happening. They did this with Twighlight Princess on cube/Wii
Was released on Wii first to help boost new Console sales(not to open doors for more players) So now they will do the same with this new Zelda(which has been promised to us b4 Wii u even released and now we have to share with there new coming system….***

    • Reprep says:

Glad that you are happy. In the end, that is what matters.

      • Jc3fresh says:

Exactly, people forget that these consoles are made for the sole purpose of entertainment and having fun, i never bought a wii u but i kinda always wanted one. Yeah there aren’t many third party games, but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have many great games, like all of the first party games. Yeah it sucks that it isn’t going to be supported for much longer, but the support that it did recieve gave birth to many great games that are more than anough of a reason to buy a wii u and enjoy every moment of it.

        • wes says:

I agree and as of now I have 32 disc games of the 100 released so far. I believe I have the hard hitter games tho and will eventually tryout sum of the others over time

couldnt care less, vwii is al i use for vc and nintendont

  7. Rolenzo says:

It’s a really great time to be a gamer if you have a modded wiiu/3ds.

I do have to hand it to playstation though. The vita sure didn’t get cracked open like the 3ds.

    • Dengar says:

Didn’t it take years to make the 3DS finally hackable?

The vita was also successfully hacked earlier than the 3DS wasn’t it?

      • Charles Fasano says:

The Vita still isn’t fully hackable like the 3DS is. Sure the Vita can run PSP isos but no native Vita game backups can be played yet.

    get rekt!

  9. Dmaskell92 says:

I don’t care so much it burns.

  10. Gaze says:

I wonder what the gimmick will be this time around… I just hope its not annoying or useless again. Lets be honest the Wii’s motion controls were annoying and I found only one DS game that actually had a good way to use the touchscreen aside from organizing inventories. I don’t even use the 3DS’s 3d… My time with a Wii U was short so I can’t really say much about the tablet thing but it was okay for the few games I tried it out on.

  11. Mr.Egypt says:

HI, I know this is odd but I really want one dollar so bad, you ask me why? It’s a long story, please be generous, this is my email address, muome1234@gmail.com, thank you

    • well says:

      tell me your story

      • Mr.Egypt says:

Okey, you asked for it, long long ago in the past I heard that there is no need for an exploit psp game to get Ark or TN-V, just some random game on my vita would do the job, but hmmmm, how can I get a psp game without being able to access the store on my vita case I still on 3.51 firmware, you know this is the last firmware that run native code on the vita,However there is very kind people who helped me and told me that I need a ps3, that’s whene I was like Whaaaat!! I need a Ps3 to get a psp game?? But I did it, I bought a used ugly broken ps3 but it does work and successful get a CFW on it, and here where all the fun begins, or that I was thinking, after that I asked if I could use a psp demo instead of a full one case I don’t have a visa, you ask why? That’s another story I will save it for later, in the last month of my life I was doing one thing all the day, download any psp demo game that I found in the store, and guess what I found earlier that I can’t transfer a psp demo game to my vita, actually I lost hope, I don’t have visa or master card, and I can’t transfer psp demo game to my vita so the only way left is to mack a paybal account and come here to ask for some help as I know most people here is more than kind and good people, thank you

  12. Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is important and all. But think
of if you added some great graphics or videos to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with pics and clips,
this site could certainly be one of the very best in its
    niche. Fantastic blog!

    Dreamcast: 11/27/98 – 03/31/01
    Nintendo 64: 09/26/99 – 11/30/03
    Gamecube: 11/18/01 – 2007
    Xbox: 11/15/01 – 03/02/09 (Xbox 360 released 11/22/05)
    Playstation 2: 10/26/00 – 12/28/12 (PS3 released in 11/17/06)

No, I am not that disappointed. History shows that 4-6 is about the average time before a new system shows up; in addition, a system is not automatically “dead” just because another system is released. (Even if it’s by the same company.) The Wii U has had its run and I think it’s in the running with the Vita for most under-rated video game platform. It’s still had some great games and the off-screen play feature was very significant for me, and something that I think will inspire future systems. The Wii U will hold its spot on my entertainment stand for years to come, regardless of what new things come and go.

  14. Jackall4BDN says:

From what i can tell from all the announces for this thing, it sounds more and more like just a DRM for a multitude of platforms including probably a device and OS from them themselves just to still have a console-vibe to it. and to be perfectly honest, i would INCREDIBLY love that.

  15. Jackall4BDN says:

random bump with email-notification because i was to dumb to do it before, sry
