Ok, so i have a banned account that was banned in PS3 (not psvita), is this any useful for me?
I already formatted the mem card that i used this account with, long time ago, but i still have the ps3 account intact.

well the thing is that it uses the act.dat from vita and i think it is different from PS3 system , but u can give it a try , but it might get corrupted 😀

It’s far more useful for quick and painless PSN account/region switching or backing up and restoring Vita activation state without the need to use a PS3.

It’s also missing the crucial requirement of a Vita being on firmware 3.52 or older.

    • Salar says:

Yup , u can use it to switch accs really easily , since my account got banned , and i didint had money to buy those games again but also i wanted to get new games and not loosing my old games again 😀 i tried this way. but yes the requirment is to be on 3.52 and lower due to EML trick

Does act.dat contain activation data for PS Mobile? Because then this’d allow me to switch accounts without losing that activation.

    • BenoitRen says:

But if I read correctly, it still requires you to format your PS Vita’s internal memory. That means I’d lose my PS Mobile activation data. 🙁

the title is a bit misleading don’t you think? this gives directions on how to access already downloaded content that is related banned account, it doesn’t give access to the banned account

This is how you get around the eventual loss of your PSP games, too.
You can just backup your license files and ACT.DAT, and if you have the EBOOTs, it’s all copy-paste from your computer.
