We are almost there!
The next big updates with 10.3 and A9hax support, as well as a nice surprise, are just around the corner.
We apologize for the delay to fulfill our announcement, but as always we deliver. Please understand weare still supporting our V1 hardware from a few years ago, which in the case of this major update has proven quite challenging.
We are very proud that users who bought their device 3 years ago still enjoy full support, although it has caused some delay.
And we will continue to do so by making sure all Gateway users, old and new, are receiving more than they expected for their money worth.
10.3 support and A9Hax will be released separately in the coming days to save from further delays. We are starting to expand our testing panel to more Alpha testers on various consoles types, regions, firmware etc. so it shouldn’t be long. But please for safety reason do not use any new Gateway firmware until we have confirmed test results and released the official update.
Thank you for your patience, get ready to ‘enjoy’!

Wondering if it means UP TO 10.3? Am on 9.2 right now, but the only Card way to Update is only at 9.9 when this happens. Unless they also release a Downgrader from the Latest to 10.3 which would be cool.
Also hope it will fix the RetroArch Issue for some GW users. Install a RA Core via CIA, run said Core, and all you get is the Frame Counter increasing. Can not do anything except hit the Home Button and Exit.
it took them some time. also bragging about supporting 3 year old hardware… 🙂 it’s a reprogrammable actel fcpga. just like with the sky3ds they could and could have supported that too. anyway now that cfw’s can be installed on 10.7 as well (if you have a proper game or sky3ds) it makes not much sense. their cheat engine is fine and dandy but it will be replicated and be better in a cfw soon. Its great that they still support the card though. These newer console probably dont get them as much geld as in older generations (like the ds)
The article should mention than even the latest 10.7 firmware can be downgraded to 9.2 in around ten minutes, making the 9.3 requirement somewhat immaterial.
Ack 9.2, rather.
Aye this is true but most gateway users prefer the ease of access approach, this release is for them. A lot of people can’t read region or hardware revision and brick their consoles. I use reiNAND myself but still, good for the gateway users… who this article was for mostly.
Side not, 10.3 kernel access is still quite interesting, I wonder what entry point they’re using 🙂
Is there a decent guide for like lvl 1 n00bs? I’m on 10.7 with no homebrew hacks running at all… I’m not sure what is the best thing to do.
If you have cubic ninja or oot, they posted an article earlier about downgrading those firmwares 😛
I may have oot somewhere.
There’s Plailect’s guide, which goes step by step from stock to fully hacked. It’s really the best resource out there, really easy to follow and relatively safe. https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki
Also, drop by the relevant subreddit and read around, lots of noob-friendly resources as well. https://www.reddit.com/r/3dshacks/

Nice! The company can’t even call “A9LH” by that, instead it’s “A9Hax” according to them. Oh well.
