December 2015/January 2016 Tutorial contest: vote for your favorite entry!
Our entries for the December tutorial contest are in! I totally messed up and did not follow up back in December, letting the deadline drag, and pretty much losing a full month, I’m super sorry for that. People who wrote a tutorial in January and did not know if they could submit it in the December contest: don’t worry, you’ll be able to submit your entry for February.
You have 5 days to vote on /talk for your favorite tutorials. The winner of each category will get a $10 PSN Code.
Every month, we give away a total of $50 in PSN codes in our monthly tutorial contest, for the best guides in each category: PS Vita, PS4, PS3, and 3DS. (Yup, the PSP contest is now gone)
The 3DS and PS4 both had only one entry each, meaning the authors of these tutos automatically win the $10 codes, congrats!
We’re also giving an extra $10 to the best tutorial each month, as voted by myself and the mods. All tutorials that entered the contest qualify for this additional vote. (The winner of the PS4/3DS sections also qualify for this bonus prize, which is why I am not sending them their $10 yet)
- Vote for your favorite PS Vita December tutorial (winner gets $10)
- Vote for your favorite PS3 November tutorial (winner gets $10)
Voting will end in 5 days, after that we’ll start the February contest 🙂
Good luck to everyone, keep the cool guides coming!
On a side note: it’s come to my attention that some people have been copy/pasting tutorials from other sites and submit those to the contest. Needless to say that this is against the rules, and we take action against that kind of behavior. I appreciate everyone’s help in mentioning any form of plagiarism to me.

Whats up with removing the psp contest?
I agree, the PSP still has plenty of potential for homebrew, including a more developed Saturn and N64 emulator. They’ll likely never be perfect, but I’m willing to bet they could get close.
The tutorials we have been receiving lately are about stuff that has been done countless times and it’s difficult to get any original content. This is not to say that the PSP has become irrelevant, but that everything you need to know about it is pretty much covered already.
I know i’m saying this again but here it goes…. I know it is irrelevant, but it’s so amazing how everyone is focusing on keeping home brew support and getting 16 bit , 16 BIT!!!, emulators on vita but when it comes to truly reviving the Vita scene, everyone backs up wants to go back revive the PSP SCENE!!!!
If that’s the case, PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO PORT NULL DC (DREAMCAST) ON PSP SINCE 2007!!!!!RUNNING BETTER THAN DAEDALUS AT 12 FPS AT 2007!!! CRAZY TAXI PEOPLE, HELLL000!! If someone wants to do something REVOLUTIONARY WITH THE PSP, HERE IS YOUR CHANCE.If you all don’t feel my feels, I understand.
Ask yourselves,
Where is my PS2 Emulator for Vita… Oh wait, there isn’t one.
Where is my Wii Emulator for Vita…. Oh wait, there isn’t one.
Where is my Xbox Emulator for Vita… Oh wait, there isn’t one.
Where is my Dreamcast Emulator on PSP we have all been waiting for FOR, FOR ****9**** YEARS.
Most importantly, where are all of my childhood memories…Oh wait, I know I know I KNOW!!!!PICKKK MEEEE!!!!!!
Down the drain….
Why the heck would you expect the PSP to emulate the Dreamcast? The DC is like as powerful as the PSP, and you need hardware much more powerful than the system you want to emulate. Also, there’s not even a real functioning Xbox emulator for PC, all it does it play Halo.
Not to mention that PS2 emulation on Vita just isn’t possible. The Vita just isn’t powerful enough. It’s not powerful enough to emulate the Wii either, so I’m not sure why you keep asking for this nonsense. What do you expect next, the PSP to emulate Windows 10?
If you only knew lol… Check this video since you’re so “up-to-date” with stuff. NullDC running on PSP in 2009: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skUS7UI5OGU
Secondly compare Killzone Mercanary to ANY PS2 game and then come back to me.
